Ingredients

DioxiRinse™ mouthwash: water, sodium chlorite, trisodium phosphate, sodium carbonate, poloxamer 407, calcium lactate, citric acid, saccharin, glutaraldehyde, lactic acid, peppermint (Mentha piperita), cinnamal, phosphoric acid, polysorbate 20, glycerin, alcohol, menthol, FD&C Red No. 33, FD&C Blue No. 1. The mixture contains: DioxiCare (ACTIVE chlorine dioxide).

Note on color: DioxiRinse mouthwash is a two-part product, and both parts must be mixed to form chlorine dioxide. One part must never be used alone. Part B therefore contains a blue dye that helps the user distinguish which component has been used and also prevents the same component from being used twice.

Interestingly, once chlorine dioxide is formed, the dye begins to oxidize and the color starts to fade approximately one minute after the two parts are mixed.
