Ingredients

DioxiRinse™ mouthwash: water, sodium chlorite, trisodium phosphate, sodium carbonate, poloxamer 407, calcium lactate, citric acid, saccharin, glutaraldehyde, lactic acid, peppermint (Mentha piperita), cinnamal, phosphoric acid, polysorbate 20, glycerin, alcohol, menthol, FD&C Red No. 33, FD&C Blue No. 1. The mixture contains: DioxiCare (ACTIVE chlorine dioxide).

Note on coloring: DioxiRinse mouthwash is a two-part product, and both parts must be mixed to form chlorine dioxide. One part must never be used alone. Therefore, Part B contains a blue dye that helps the user see which part has been dispensed and also prevents the same part from being used twice.

Interestingly, once chlorine dioxide is formed, the dye begins to oxidize and the color fades within about one minute after mixing both parts.
